Lately, I’m steering more and more friends to web hosting companies for their personal projects. Unless it’s something that will get a lot of traffic, I usually just steer them to the cheapest, most reliable hosts I know of. For a while, that had been Dreamhost, but lately Bluehost was offering rock bottom rates, and it was starting to win me over.

But today when I went to register a new domain, fully intending to do so on Bluehost, I decided just to check and see if Dreamhost was running any deals. And boy oh boy, were they ever. 1 full year of hosting, including 1 free domain registration, for just $9.24.

That may just be one of the best hosting deals ever. They’re calling it their Easter Egg special, so I gather it may only be good for today, but if you happen to be in the market for a host, I suggest pouncing all over this one.
