There are a ton of new features and tweaks to play with, but I’m most psyched to try out the new image editing and video embedding.

Alas, when I tried image editing, I couldn’t get the image to crop or do much at all.

Video embeds, on the other hand, worked well. Instead of copying the normal embed code, I’m going to just past the URL of the video I want to display here:

UPDATE: Turns out that it was a plugin conflict that was preventing the image editor from working. The culprit: The Social Links plugin (I was running v. 1.0.11), which appears to break the image editor. Just headed over to that plugin page to report the incompatibility, and then decommissioned the plugin for good (or at least, until it can be patched).
